ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Ana-Bianca! I’m a Certified Yoga Instructor with 250 hours of formal training from Yoga Tree Studios in Toronto, specializing in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Hot Yoga, Restorative, and Ashtanga yoga. I taught in the greater Toronto Area prior to coming to Nova Scotia.

My goal is to create a welcoming and playful space where students can safely explore their body’s potential.

In my classes, you’ll find a focus on good music, creative pose sequences, and a balance of strength, flexibility, and flow. I also offer clear instructions and hands-on adjustments (if students are comfortable) to support progress throughout the class.

Why Yoga?

Meditation has been a part of my life from a young age, but during university, while pursuing my Science degree and later my Master’s in Neuroscience, I realized that my body needed more for optimal mobility and well-being.

I was drawn to yoga for its combination of strength, flexibility, functional movement, and the meditative aspects I already valued. Despite early struggles with some poses that seemed easy at first, I gradually learned proper alignment and technique, which led to noticeable improvements that I hadn’t experienced through traditional exercise. After practicing hot yoga regularly for five years, I committed to yoga teacher training at my local studio in Toronto.

Shortly after, I moved to Nova Scotia for work, and fell in love with the south shore. I’m excited to share my passion for yoga in this community.
